Felt roofs first became popular in the 1940s, and come with many advantages. They are cost effective, quick to install and the materials are easy to transport to the building site.
Over the years, improvements in the materials used (polymers) have made felt roofs even better, and are highly recommended as a roofing option. They are extremely flexible and can be adapted to any design.
Modern felt roofs meet Class A Fire Protection Standards and are compatible with modern insulants (Phenolic, XPS, EPS, Foamglass, Wool and Straw based insulants).
